Good question. The answer depends on you a bit. First, I suggest just doing shadowing from listening. I generally recommend doing this three or four times. Then do it once while you read the transcript.

You need to shadowing and read at the same time once in while, to avoid making mistakes. When you read and shadow, you will often get 'Aha!' moments. If you get that Aha! , then good, you learned.

Decide based how uncertain (or confident) you feel. But read 1/5 shadowing is good.

Indeed Mr. Aruguelles and I probably differ on several points, and that creates a richer atmosphere for exchange of ideas. We can learn from each other.

Wouldn't it be important to point out that Alexander Arguelles highly recommends a very specific regimen for shadowing including physical movement and upright posture? There is also a progression that he outlines in his video "Shadowing Step by Step".
