Is there a transcription of these headstones on file with the public library, rootsweb and/or find a grave? If not, someone needs to do it before the stones can't be read. Winter months are easiest because vegetation is down. .

This is not a slave cemetery but was in use when the old Blackstock church was roughly where Carowinds is. There are some slave graves outside of the stone wall but as far as I know, everyone within it were just local families and most definitely not slaves as you can tell by the very nice headstones. Most of the more recent graves towards the back are from the family which sold their farmland to Carowinds in the '70s- my family.

I'd actually written a blog post which included this video, and in that post included the info you just said, but for some reason it never made it into the actual youtube description.
