I think all this is kind of a load. The mobile suits here are all plot-armored to different extents, and, well, Wing has more plot armor than any Gundam, ever. Even a die-hard UC fan has to admit Wing would beat any unit from the UC, just because it's so heavily plot armored.

Pit most pilots, in the same unit, though, against each other, and Heero and Chang come out at the bottom tier, based on skill.

@SchizoFilms I'm not arguing differently myself. I didn't make this to glorify Heero, I made it because it was something I wanted to do, but since it was Wing Zero... against a slow suit like Providence where you can just circle around while firing TBR and fire at a suit that can barely move... It's no contest really.

@SchizoFilms is not plot armor, plot armor is more like... if the gundam was suposed to not survive a nuclear attack and then it does with no reason, gundams in AC had the reason, gundamium, and if u think gundamium is that overpowered u havent seen Turn A XDD

@ApostleSatanail Personally I think it has less due to armor in wing and more due to the fact that when a main character pilots the defense rating of the mobile suit even if it's a leo goes up. In srw terms this would mean the wing main characters for some reason have a very high defense stat.

I was just responding to someone who asked if Heero ever lost a fight.

One could argue the battle had no real victor, but with Heavyarms completely out of ammo and on the ropes against Tallgeese, Zechs sure as hell didn't lose.

I also think Heero is the best pilot in Wing, if not the entire Gundam metaverse. Those 7 years of training were well spent.

@BowToWard86 I'd have to disagree althogh Zechs landed several hits with the beam saber, the Heavyarms was unaffected. Also not to glorify Heero, but he was the best pilot in Wing due to the fact that he managed to not only match Zechs's skill with the Epyon in close combat but to beat him as well. As for things in UC there are atleast two MS that could take on gundams from wing and they are the High-Nu Gundam and the Unicorn Gundam.

@BowToWard86 I'd have to disagree with you on the battle Heero had using the Heavyarms, because although true that Zechs landed more beam saber strikes, they did nothing the gundam's armor. Also Heero was actually the best pilot in Wing, I can say this due to the fact that he's able to match Zechs in terms of close combat when Zechs was using the Epyon. Also there are probably some things in UC that could take on the gundams from wing. High Nu is one, the Unicorn is another.

Zechs gave him a good thrashing when he piloted Heavyarms. Zechs may not have finished him, but he definately beat him on the "scorecard" so to speak.

Heero has been training his entire life to be an assassin, and training for Operation Meteor since he was 8. His piloting skills are perfectly reasonable.
