What are the gun laws like in canada? I live in the US and where I live specifically, If it's hunting season then you can walk down the street with a gun.

@ufloetz I live in Canada, I was born here and indoctrinated here. You are trying to say that statitory legislation is a law. I am saying it is a statute, which it is, all acts are stautes. If it was a law, it would be called a law. Municipalities have By-laws, not laws, just like the legislature enacts statues, not laws. The only way to commit an unlawfull act is to 1. Commit fraud in your contracts 2. Be in possesion, or steal someones property 3. Physically harm or threaten to harm someone.

@kimuhsleinad Buddy in this country Called Canada (whcih this happened) the second largest country in the world next to Russia. That is the law.

@ufloetz Have to? No my freind, someone who submits applications in order to be permited a licence to cary private property does so on their own accord. Statutory leglislation is given the force of law by the concent of the governed. There is no have to, you choose to, so don't go around telling people they have to do the same as you choose to do.

@ksff286 A glock in canada would have to be in a locked case with a lock on the trigger, and you better have you paper work for it, and you better be going to and from a gun range period. And you have to belong to a gun range.
-
You can carry a gun here in a city, so as long as you don't point it at anyone and it isn't concealed. I had a glock on my hip and all the cop did was check my ID and said have a nice night.

The thing is if you are going to cart a paintball gun around you should have it in a better case. It's not that people are so willing to 'rat' people out...

@notme600 fucking community watchers!! .. 85% of Canadian r community rats!! lamo
