  • Wonder what David Bowie thought of her in the 1970s, and she of him. They were similar eclectic talents in a way, capable of many roles and styles. Such an enduring talent and beauty.

  • I love گوگوش!

  • "Hear fellow traveller, from this bitter story of a difficult Road/ Oh you are the only light of this hazy night/For this is not simply passing by the side of fairytales/For this is not an image of the Fall of people/WE did not look on with indifference/We endured pain itself, and did not pass just a momentary glance/Travelling at the end sorrow is very bitter/To sense Death and the destruction of a mountain/Tolerating every lump in the throat or shedding of a tear....

  • I don't know but I think the lyris is sadly , the music is amazing , I love ggoogoosh songs

  • Can anyone provide me with a good transliteration of the lyrics? I want to know the original Persian words, but I can't read the script, and can't find a transliteration anywhere! I like learning about languages, so this would be a great chunk of Persian to look over.

  • Спасибо!

  • @famemonster1993, and what about seljuk invasions of the 11th century? seljuk turks settled in that area of northwestern persia and also in the south caucasus, hence the turkification of the local population which is more turkish than iranian, etc. this is one of the versions of the azeris' ethnogenesis.

and according to another one supported by you and established during the reign of the pahlavi dysnasty in persia/iran, azeris of northwestern persia are pure aryans, turkified linguistically.
