The "true history"? The Democratic Party was once rife with Southern Dems. Guess which party these "Dixiecrats" moved to after the Civil Rights Act passed - the majority of Democrats voted for it - in the 1960s? Anyone want to guess which party is now favored by these individuals? If you look at the votes for the CRA of 1964, you see that most Dems voted yes. Break the parties into regions - North vs South - almost, 94% of House Dems and 98% of Senate Dems from the North voted yes.

Stop using the term "Democratic Party." The proper term is Democrat Party, as there has seldom been anything "democratic" about their policies.

Semantics is everything, and Democrats would love to associate themselves exclusively with the idea of democracy, which is ludicrous in the extreme. Don't make the mistake of ignoring their covert use of such pathologically inspired memes.

In defense of their belief that Republicans (Conservatives) are racist, Liberals believe in & perpatuate the myth that Conservatives & Liberals "switched parties."

Funny how that happened, they just mutually agreed to switch ideological platforms and beliefs, with no precedent for such a thing throughout human history. Wow. I wonder who lead that strange movement.

@TheCaliCapitalist , Are you blind? The Democrats have a long history of abusing black people and are doing so now. The Conservatives in this country are not all Republicans but want the same thing for black people as anyone else. Opportunity. Welfare has created a dependency on government. I think you have your story backwards. It is the Democrats that think black people are not intelligent enough to take care of themselves.

@dcottoncandy , actually I did the research long before seeing this video and it is accurate to the word. The only switch that happened is the one where the Democrats switched their strategy and started pretending to be for black people by making them government dependents. That is a fact. Maybe you need to do some research.
