O did you? May I ask, what college was this that you went to? And What degree? If you actually did go to college for Herpetology, you would probably know how to spell it right... And secondly you would know the snakes brain lacks the enlarged cerebral hemispheres found in birds and mammals. The cerebral is the part of the brain, which contains the learning.

Alright buddy whatever makes you happy :D Have you been keeping reptiles for the last 10 years such as someone like me? Have you studied about reptiles and their brain functions and what they are capable of? Or are you just going by what you "seen" your "Friends Burmese Python" do?

everyone need a chance especially burms, i got one she is 8 feet and 2 years old, i'm saving to make her a 12' x 16' cage to hold her all her life good. dont throw animals into the forest give them away or sell them before they get big and you cant keep them anymore...or simple buy a ball python instead they grow to 5 feet tops.

i love the albino, i just added a baby male granite burm to my collection and strange enough the only person he strikes out at any more is my brother

Yes, I am ten years old, snakes really do facinate me, I love to watch them slither across the grass. I would not mind seeing pictures of them, but, if I do see them in person, I would rather go and get someone to shoo it off. I saw one in my yard, all coiled up in the grass by my front yard porch steps. It really scared me, I held it too! I held the back of it, I was so scared, but now when I look back I laugh at it!

@DBDReptilez no they just associate the smell of female hormones with danger or pain

pets of the same kind that one seems brain dead and the other the same isnt (this proves nothing) so relax and try a little understanding and less arguing you might learn something from each other

would they ever bite u for all that uve done for them like them like a dog it wont bite u since u know it a long time

They could and would easily bite, especially during feeding. They can be very sweet animals, especially when they're used to frequent handling. But they still have a tiny brain and can't form the same relationships as mammals. I love em but I don't assume they love me back!

oh ok im only 11 i dont know much about snakes.

Good question though, thanks for asking. Most big snakes can be very nice, but as soon as the smell of food hits the air, you can't trust them to know the difference between you and food.
