Solar Net is an international youth network that supports inter-cultural exchange and renewable energies.

This sentence tells it all about our project.

Still there are a lot of people who complain that our project would be too complex, that they wouldn't really understand what is it all about and what we are actually doing.

So with this video we hope to make it clear: we are a small community of mostly young people working together in Internet.

We would like our network to grow so we are looking for people who would like to join our project.

Basically we are looking for people who have a natural interests in a communication and in producing media forms.

Normally, this should apply for any young man or woman who would like to study anything associated to media and would understand, that she or he needs a lot of practice and experience before she or he even applies to study it.

Due to everyday forum communication we deliver a place where everybody is strongly encouraged to produce reports, photo - reportages, videos and so on.
It is not possible to "learn" making any media forms. You must start to practice as soon as possible and you must do it not only once in a while but you need a continuous work to keep your development growing.

We would like you to join us, we would like you to report us on your everyday life, on your everyday surroundings.
Learn to write, make photos, make videos and radio features.

We are not going to teach you, although we're always there to answer your questions. But the plain true is: nobody can teach it to you but you yourself. Learning by doing, by practicing, is the only way.
We are a community of people who would like to hear from you, to see you first reports, pictures and films.

We all need to learn and practice everyday - when you are interested in getting some experience in communicating with a whole variety of media in Internet - join our Group and help to run it.

  • I am proud to be part of the SolarNet community, I made lots of friends all over the world, so many people out there share similar interest as I do. Solar Net is also my home page. Thanks so much for creating the community Cari. Proud to be the Solar Net reporter from Seattle. Living up in the Pacific Northwest is Beautiful, but I also love to travel, so I could travel I'd go everywhere.

Thank you so much for creating Solar Net.
