Call of Duty : WaW - Prestige Glitch [PS3]

10/10: my ps3 got the YLoD, so i cant do it for u guys anymore =\

Did this in March 21st.
Rumor this only works on older version of PS3 (60GB)

FACTs:
- It is Unpatchable (is that even a word?)
- For wireless users just unplug the router's AC instead of Ethernet cable
- Does not work on some accounts (theory is unknown)

QUICK OVERVIEW:
1. Accept on the last prestige
2. count 2 secs (timing is VERY CRUCIAL)
3. Unplug Ethernet cable
4. Restart PS3 (switch on the back)

ok so before i was level 35 and then i joined a hacked server now im lvl 65 except the symbol for level 65 shows the circle with a star in it instead of the eagle and i have all weapons but it wont let me do challenges. help?

@seandeer12345 i know exactly what happend. the exact same thing happend to me and might i say u and me r veryyyyy lucky people. some pple with 10th prestiege j-tags go in regular games and just give pple tones and tons of points 4 free. without even telling u. pple call it getting infected. u r really lucky.

im wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else on psn. I was level 45 (not prestige) and i knifed a guy and it said i was promoted to commander. I finished the match but every kill i got that match after that was worth 10,000 xp. So i checked my guns to see if all the other ones were unlocked scince i was lv.65 now and they werent so i prestiged. any explanations?
