unfortunately this shows the influence of American pop culture in which the video is more important than the music and the music itself is limited to a lowest common denominator to sell more copies. Why would a culture with 2500 years of history imitate one of the shallowest and most uneducated cultures of all time? But that's the reality of it. And China will outdo the U.S. the 21st century will mark the reascendence of China as the worlds great power.

I love the song, they've toned her voice down a lot though. I've listened to some of her other videos and her voice is more powerful than this. I think the chinese prefer women to be fragile and childlike.
