That's why you have to make a timer in your video, find where the thumbnails are, add your thumbnail, remove timer, and upload!
Or You can let the thumbnail last out the end of your video.

There is a way you can set your desired thumbnail... Of course even without YouTube-partnership.
There is a video at my channel wich describes two methods, which worked in late 2010.

@kokv19 apply for partnership at youtube . com/partners (no spaces) and if you get accepted you become a partner. You need a lot of subs and video views.
