would the "ABC Orchestra" be the Australian Broadcasting Commission (as it was known at the time) or the American Broadcasting Corporation (now part of the Disney conglomerate)?

It's the Australian BC, and was recorded in Sydney about mid 1937

I was trying to remember who sang the full version! I had it on a cassette yrs ago, but it's long gone. Hopefully someone will post it because Dick Powell did it really well.

Pretty good version - I didn't know we Aussies had such good singers way back when! As already mentioned here, Dick Powell had an excellent version but it doesn't seem to be on YT.
