People can complain and say the older kids are only there to watch the younger ones but i know plenty of families with only 2 or 3 and the older kids help with the younger ones... We see their lives shortened into 30min episodes. What would your life look like in that amount of time...

The thing about it is, it's not really about whether or not the older girls LIKE taking care of the younger kids, it's about the younger kids not getting the attention necessary from their own parents.. You watch the show and see the lack of attachment between the younger kids and the mother all time, with the exception of Josie, who Michelle actually made time to bond with. Making babies seems to have become more important to the Duggar parents than actually caring for the babies they have.

Hopefully they'll grow up eventually and stop sipping the Kool Aid. And children aren't "baby dolls" to play with. They're human beings who should be raised by their parents, not by their siblings.

These young women are just stunning. They say they socialise more than other people but if you watch the video where they are in the Dead Sea, a young man starts a conversation with the girls - perfectly gentlemanly - and along comes Jim Bob to stick his big nose in and interrupt an innocent socialisation opportunity. He's so embarrassing to the girls. He will be the one to choose their life partners as they don't ever get the opportunity to be out of his control.
