@QonOUTview He didn't. He DID sexually assault her, but he didn't rape her (that's why the title says "tries"). John was trying to figure out if she killed Paul. She had to tell John how she got Paul's blood on her shirt (as you see in the vid, that Paul wiped his own bloody hand on her shirt).
In the next scene (not included in this video) she tells John that Paul didn't rape her. She wasn't the killer either, I think it was Daniel (who was hiding a gay lover, and Paul was blackmailing him).

What are you talking about 'slugging' I never used that word...and she told the truth in her statement so there is no doubt.

A previous comment (which was not mine) made mention of Paul's 'slugging' Natalie being fake. Sluggling was meant as another word for punch or hit. In the scene, when Paul hits Natalie and she becomes unconsious the actual hit looks fake...it looked staged.
