This active volcano on Iceland named Fimmvörðuhálsi started to erupt in a few hours. This footage was taken from a live feed tonight over a period of 2 hours (from 21.00 to 23.00 GMT +1), compressed to a few minutes using time-lapse video. You can see helicopters and planes circling the sky and many vehicles driving up to the ridge on the right and also right up to the volcano. When the eruptions are getting heavier and the air gets thick with ash and smoke, all vehicles are bolting out of there to a safe distance.
