GT5:P - Honda Integra special mission race

Here's how I did the Honda Integra Type R '04 special mission race, the event I found hardest in B class. After many attempts, this is what happened n__n. May be useful or not for people trying to pass this, I donno...

Here are my driving options I had for this race:

Transmission: Automatic (AT)
Active Steering: Strong
Driving Physics: Standard
Active Stability Management (ASM): On
Traction Control: 3
Driving Line: On
Front Tyres: Sports S3
Rear Tyres: Sports S3

this race isnt that hard.. i turn all the help crap off and you dont need a line.. all you need to do is draft behind every car in front of you.. my video of this race is on my profile.. check it out. 1st place!

i thought i was noob but reading these comments i guess i'm not. not bragging or anything but honestly no line traction control on minimum it takes me one try for most races. althought license and special races i struggle tounaments and series races i finish with ease. :)

i reckon the trick is to just pay attention to the gears, and find the braking points etc.

Thanks for the help, After reading your info I got it on the first try. Third place, but stull I passed the B Class. I try to go back and get all the golds on a rainy day.

much like another person said i was stuck on 6th place, but then i turned off Active Steering, traction control and ASM. Thats how i got to third on my first try after watching this. I even hit a wall @ 0:53. good luck

I was giving up trying...thinkin it was impossible...the best position i had was 6th, after almost 2 hours trying.

Then I came here, saw the videos and got back to try...

I got 3rd!!!!

I got lucky with my driving lines as none of the cars got in the way. I drafted passed the last car in dramatic fashion. However, I could not repeat it again. Glad I got gold. Whew!

Oh a little tip if your stuck on this.

Use slipstream (Drafting)

Get close to the car and tailgate them and then when the times right, over take them. Drafting will get your speed up faster and its a good way to get ahead of the pack.
