id personally switch the trees or tom sawyer with lakeside park, but this is a great list. I was honestly expecting a terrible one, good job. =]

Good list, but where the hell is "fly by night" ?

nothing from signals, grace under pressure or power windows? three of their best albums. closer to the heart and limelight should b higher

@LedWhoFloyd Listen to Mission,Lock & Key and Marathon from Power Windows and Mystic Rhythms and tell me it isn't , Cygnus X-1 Book 2 is the one from Hemispheres, my favorite albums are actually A Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres, and Moving Pictures. But they are more enriched and expanded with the synth albums as much as you don't like hearing that

@LedWhoFloyd Where is Cygnus-X Hemispheres
-
@LedWhoFloyd I'm biased towards that Era too, but I love SIGNALS to HOLD YOUR FIRE A LOT!!!TOO. That's them at their creative peak
I think you are lacking in years 1982 onward.

@Digikid313 I've listened to all of Rush's songs. As stated in my description, I don't pretend to be representing all of them in this list. In my opinion, all of Rush's best songs are in their first eight albums from Rush - Moving Pictures. I still like Rush after 1981, but they're not as good. If it's easier for you, think of this list as Top Rush Songs from 1974 - 1981.

Respond to this video... I thought it was Cygnus X-1 from A Farewell to Kings and why is that one not on the list, Rush is just too good I guess we can't have everything, ahaha

@Kruegerisgod Both songs from A Farwell to Kings and Hemispheres are called Cygnus X-1. Instead of using two slots for them, I thought I would cheat and group them together since they are really similar. I respect your opinion, but Hold your Fire is definately not Rush's creative peak. Rush peaked with Hemispheres. I could have made this list representative of all of Rush's career, but I decided to with what I personally thought their top 20 songs were (which were all from 74-81).
