The Shriner Swing Band (From Wilmington, MA) plays Glen Miller's "In The Mood" at a performance on Jan 28, 2007. This volunteer group of musicians is quite successful at raising funds by performance, in order to support the Shrine Burn Hospitals. Much of their repertoire comes from (but is not limited to) the 30's, 40's, & 50's era swing sounds of Basie, Glen Miller, and Frank Sinatra.

  • @Dianyx99 This performance was not a jazz concert highlighting musician showmanship; The tempo (165) was right for this dancing audience, (175) for the movie version, & (210) for showoffs!.

  • i don't know. it feels a little slow.

    but other than that, good.

  • I think the piano was too strong.

  • It's nice, but it sounds weak...
