Creating an iPad game in Xcode 4 in 7 hours - with programmer's commentary

I created a game called Nomis for the 360iDev Game Jam 2011 in Denver, Colorado. Started at 11pm on Tuesday night, and finished around 5:45 am Wednesday morning.

Though I didn't get the entire development recorded, here's about the last 4 hours of development compressed into 11 minutes.

A peek into the mind of a single developer working under a crazy time press to create a game from scratch.

Nomis was thought up earlier that day, and not a single line of code was written until that evening after dinner and a party.

@Passa763 Not at the moment, but could be a good idea. I did this all with UIKit, and honestly, if it's your first game, I'd recommend simply learning Cocos2D. It's a little more work perhaps, but you'll get much better potential features.

@karlbeckerdotcom LOOLZ Ah well if it means anything we wouldn't be here if we didn't need the video. The amount of assignments i have right now and I have a unit on xcode....but no knowledge of xcode T_T. But this video has really helped so thanks again man (Y) much appreciated
