The Adventures of Sean and Mike.

So we decided to go to Alaska in the middle of January!!! Crazy Texas boys, like it was 70 when we left Dallas and it never got above zero in Fairbanks!!! I think -2 was as hot as it got! It was in the -20s and below most of the time. This video shows us driving in the snow the next morning after we got there. Then we are off to Chena Hot Springs to go to the Ice Bar, Ice Hotel, and Hot Springs! You will see what the Ice Bar and Hotel looks like as well as the hot springs. ( It was 40 degrees warmer in the Ice bar at a nice 20 degrees lol) Yes we went in the hot springs and it was -20 outside. Then later on we left a bottle opener in the car and ran out in -10 weather wearing wife beaters and bare feet to get it. There really isnt too much to do in Fairbanks in the winter but drink once the sun goes down. I love the night, but when its negative 30 plus below zero my a** is not going outside ha ha. It youre from the South then youre in for a real shock. The sun was up for about 4 hours a day and when it was it up it looked like sunset or sunrise all day as the sun barley got above the horizon. That was really cool! We went to Alaska to see the northern lights btw. Part two will be on soon. We go dog sledding, go see Santa at the North Pole (YEAH IT REALLY EXIST, we had no idea lol), and then skiing at the northern most Ski Resort in the World!
