I want a carpet python, couple questions. How long do they get? My mom doesnt want me getting something over 5', and how thick? Like how many inches is their girth?

@rseagles14 well, if you dont want it over 5, then you gotta go with an Irian Jaya carpet, they only get about 4 feet and inch and a half thick or soo, and im not positive depends on the morph; could cost 175 or more

you really should hold your snake for as little time as possible after they feed as most snakes find it very disturbing. Also you cant really call 7ft large as im from australia and they get much much larger, I had a jungle carpet from the Lismore region and her parents were both 10ft +

I have owned the shitty ball pythons, RTBs, KSB, Kings, Milks, Hogs, Corns, Rats and so on. What is your point? So if you are a breeder, what is your website? I am looking to buy an Albino Retic or either a nice pair of Jungles. Also, pure JCP's don't have problems dumb ass. Coastal Jags, Jungle Jags, and Irian Jaya Jags have problems because of the JAG GENE...

Lol. No... I have never been to NARBC or any other reptile expo not ever ever ever. I just go to this places where lots of people get together and sell reptiles. Yeah, some morphs such as the spiders for the bp's and the Jags for the carpets have PROBLEMS from inbreeding and shit. No shit.... it shouldn't be done. What do you think is going to happen when you line breed for certain traits???? You really don't seem that educated in reptiles?
