23 month old making his own snack, montessori

here is edward getting and eating his own snack at 23 months old.
this video gets pretty boring towards the end, sorry, but a kid eating yogurt can only be so awesome...
after he's finished he takes his dishes and puts them on the counter in the kitchen.

This is so sweet - my son is starting a montessori school just this week. I never thought of implementing the priniciples so early but it makes perfect sense. The sweetest thing about these videos is that you clearly love your son to pieces, with such thought, planning and concern involved in his care. That seems so basic but sadly, so many families do the bare minimum in this fast paced world! Thanks for sharing. You both seem precious.

@spoofer86 All kids can do that. Just stop giving them unnecessary help. Did you show him how to clean the table? That is also a great activity.
