No hollywood writer should make more than a doctor, or a nurse, or a police officer, or a teacher. We live in a rather ridiculous world, in which people can sell fiction (ideas on paper about imaginary scenarios) and actually get paid more than the truly valued members of society. This is a treasured time for people to turn off their televisions, disconnect from the udders of hollywood, and advance their intelligence - rather than their grasp of some fantastic world cooked up by wanton writers.

How lovely it is that you've decided for the rest of us what's truly important and valuable in life! The burden you must shoulder on a day to day basis is staggering, after all, it's a big world you're looking after; no wonder you haven't time to both watch television and read a book. Well, that's an articulate, well thought out argument. You presented your idea in a way that is compelling and thought provoking, while managing to remain completely accessible. It has a certain style, a verve if you will that I can't quite put my finger on. Very impressive.
