Farmers are growing Moringa oliefera as field crop, ridge sowing at 3 feet row to row distance. When the plants are about 3-4 feet length, field is irrigated and plants are uprooted. The roots (locally called sohanjana ki moli) is sold to food industry for pickel. Pre emergence STAMP as weedicide and 1-2 bags of urea and frequent irrigations are required. No other measures are needed, ocassional insect attack. 80-100 bags are harvested per acre.
