Video I took of the old running route I use to take when I lived in the South Park neighborhood of San Diego back in 1994. Use to run this route at least 5 times a week. Took video mainly for myself to remind me of the old neighborhood. Brings back some great memories. Took video on January 2nd 2009 with a Canon S3 IS.

You used to live on Elm Street Thomas? Reminds me of that horror movie "Nightmare on Elm Street". Beautiful Country where you used to live. Nice Vid as always thanks for sharing this Post also like the Music in the background.

Cool video. The loop around Balboa Golf Course is always a nice local ride. Real quick though... the area you star and finish your video is not North Park. It is South Park. When you cross Switzer Canyon on 30th St you enter South Park. Im am so North Park I was born at Balboa Naval Hospital... Born, raised and once again residing in North Park... Good video and music. Thanks for sharing.

There was a sign a few blocks to the north right next to the small grocery store(Gala Foods) on Fern St. I frequented that always had a sign next to it calling the neighborhood North Park. So that stuck with me. I spent hours in the Grape Street and Golden Hill parks. I also use to love the carnitas burritos at Sombrero's there on Fern St. too. I heard Whoopi Goldberg resided in this neighborhood too for a while. Anyway, I'll always miss the area. Hope life is treating you well in North Park.
