A Christian song with hidden subliminal messages. It seems that Led Zeppelin do not have the monopoly in this area.

Please note that, even though the audio clip is taken from copyrighted work, this is a case of "quoting for purposes of analysis and critique", so it clearly falls under "fair use". So don't come busting my balls about it.

  • Why don't you mention the band and the song??

  • @HelloKittyNYC7: I don't even remember. It was a completely random song I found on the Internet. If you're really interested to know, I'll have a look.

  • lol, when you do the backspin how is it possible to play it backwards? wouldnt you just start after you stop? lol

  • @happywithmymac : Yeah, fair enough! It's just for dramatic effect. Quit making a fuss.

  • All songs are evil when played backwards- either that or oddly funny. Plus this is country music so what did you expect?

  • Well I will tell you what. It had me laughing.

  • First of all, backward masking does not exist. We hear linearly. We do not store information and hear it backwards. If you have to play it backwards to understand it, it has failed. ALL of these songs, unless engineered to be a gimmick, require someone telling the listener what to hear. No two listeners hear the same thing. This is a crock of crap. It takes more evil to think evil of something meant for good that it would for someone to make a song like this. The poster needs a life.

  • this is why I'm not convinced with this "subliminal message" thing in songs. NO SONG IS IMMUNE TO THIS BACKMASKING NONESENSE!

I'm a Christian and I used to be fascinated with "backmasking" songs. But then I realized that almost every song that I play in reverse tend to have other words come out of them. Christian songs, secular songs, commercial jingles, songs from kiddie shows, name it... chances are they all create the same effect when played in reverse.
