I consider myself a Van´s early fan, but this version I had never heard, thanks for enhancing my panorama,

Nice, thanks for the notes vootie99 and modestosilo 1882. I am from Peru, south america, i am fan of Van. If you see Van, tell him he should come and play in Peru. He will be recived as a heroe, I´ll show him Inca`s city of Macchu Picchu. Maybe a new song will be created as he walks at stones street of cusco

Thanks but this ain't live... it is from an early studio version of Madame George. The producer deliberately created a "party" atmosphere in the background. It's from an album called The Bang Masters.

@vootie99 Thanks Vootie I was'nt aware of that - this is just an amateur effort. I went to the same school as Van and don't think he gets enough recognition as a genius.

@modestosilo1882 ...did you go to Orangefield? I understand how you feel about Van, though... been a fan since 1970... as a matter of fact, I did a Northern Ireland "van tour" with a local former resident in 2004... he is a van fan too and grew up in Newtownards... he took me to every location mentioned in a Van song... from Coney Island to Ardsley to Cypress Avenue...

@vootie99 Yes I went to Orangefield, and one of my mates is a guy called Gil irvine and Gil grew up with Van on the same street. Gil is the tannoy announcer at the Oval home of Glentoran and when the team scores Gil bangs out Doo doo doo doop doop (jackie wilson says) lol Sometimes our games are on Sky, about 3 per season - so watch out for it! - . Funny that the area Van was born in spawned Danny Blanchflower and Billy Bingham and George Best was less than a mile away.
