Escholas placed 2nd runner up in the sjDANCEco Fundraiser Performance!

Judges:
Joan Lazarus (Executive Director, DanceArt, Inc.) has served as Executive Director of Oakland Ballet, General Manger of the Cowell Theater at Fort Mason, and is Executive Director of WestWave Dance Festival, an annual festival of new choreography presented in San Francisco. She was the Capital Campaign Consultant for the ODC/San Francisco expansion project, and has also served as ODC Development Director. She is the former President of Dance Bay Area and served on the Steering Committee of Bay Area National Dance Week for six years

Ken Greer (Founder and principal of DancePartner.com) has been dancing for over 20 years, and has danced competitively in Ballroom, Latin, West Coast Swing, and Hustle. And he was once caught doing a country western two step. Ken is currently a dance teacher in the bay area and ballroom competitor at the championship level.

Lise la Cour (Ballet San Jose School Director) former soloist of the Royal Danish Ballet she also served as Associate Ballet Director of the Royal Danish Ballet from 1988--1995. Ms. la Cour was made a Knight of The Order of Dannebrog by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. She was also awarded the Margot Lander Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to the world of Ballet.
