Does anyone else see a problem with THIS GOVERNMENT running healthcare?

No one seems to be considering the possibility that to remain "covered by the govts plan" you may very well eventually have to report to local clinics and receive standard injections and pill supplements.

Yeah but sadly I think thats the only way someone can really get any traction and hope to make any kind of difference nowadays.

The vast majority of the American public is simply so politically sheepish and ignorant, and downright cowardly about supporting anyone outside the two (which are really ONE, if you ask me) parties that the best chance for real change I think will have to come from people like Gravel, Kucinich, and Ron Paul slowly but surely ideologically taking over the two parties.

Austin is a fabulous place and Texans of all types are known for not taking too much shit.

Don't be suprised to see Texas lead the way in standing up to the US gov't.

Texas sent Bush as their Presidential failure. Ya we have seen what Texans can do.

Not fair to blame Texas for Bush. Lots of people were foolish enough to fall for his BS. (not me)

Most of Texas can be pretty conservative, but when pushed passed a certain point, Texans of all stripes are rather independant.

Texas, New york, California are absolutely the same. Corporate owned. The people of texas have absolutely nothing to do with electing anyone.
