I like the theme and I think the game meant well and had a valid storyline as a whole..it just went a different way. i found myself crying at the end I guess capcom really brought out the emotion that was unseen but there in RE

@FFVIIKuraudoACC well RE4 is not all that old it came out only a few years ago but you do get leons mafia and jacket from re4

@MrMatu2t It's all a matter of preference really. You also have to keep in mind that they're also different genres as L4D and Dead Island are full fledged FPSes while Darkside Chronicles is a Rail Shooter. Both have something the other doesn't.

As a Touhou Addict, I'd much prefer an insanely replayable Rail Shooter/Shoot-em-up to a simple FPS whose only purpose is online play (screw LIVE). Also, the Decapitations in this game are just great, you can't say it isn't satisfying to get 4 in a row.

I on the other hand, really enjoyed the game with 65 hours currently logged in and have all S Ranks on Normal and Hard for every mission. I might consider tackling Very Hard Mode someday, but for now I'm just revisiting the game and having fun with it for now...
