God I can't stand Ann Curry. What totally biased reporting. Instead of oohing and aching over her, "You could be in Malibu! You're a goddess for choosing to be in Africa," why not ask some actually interesting questions? Ask how as a movie star she chooses to shed light on issues she cares about, what the process is like, how other people can help...god some journalism just makes me sick.

2001 she started her involvement with UNHCR. And as such her role also encompassed to make conflicts and situations more pubilically known.she is so well known nowadays. She doesn't need pr anymore. It's sad but certain projects need spokespeople. Having a glamorous person involved also helps raise funds. Not only from the public but also within the countries involved. And hobestly if you wanted to give money to an organization helping in Africa woulnt you rather give to one that is not only ap
