What Have I Done? WisDOT Work Zone Safety Ad

This television commercial was created by the Madison, Wis., agency Knupp & Watson for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's (WisDOT) Work Zone Safety program. WisDOT needed a campaign that would garner attention from drivers across the state in a powerful way.

Set on an isolated road in the middle of the night, the television ad entitled "What Have I Done?" shows us one man's long walk from his car door to the body of the road maintenance worker he just struck.

The campaign has proven that a strong, emotional traffic safety message can cut through both media clutter and audience apathy. The ads have captured the public's notice, receiving local news coverage and even sparking passionate audience feedback.

im glad people make videos like this. my husband works on the rds & i wish people would learn that they r humans too & their lives count just like urs. it doesnt take but 5 extra secs. to slow down. isnt that worth a persons live?
