@ski2exs The cost of buying a turbo S the modifying it vs the cost of a basic 944 + LS1 swap, the LS1's going to be cheaper and faster.

I don't get it. A stock '89 Turbo S would turn oh-60's at 5.5, 1/4's at 13.9 at around 101. Chip it, better FP and bigger TB. . and approaching high 12's. . .go Devek crazy if you want with the internals and performace turbo setup and different grind and you're dusting Ferrari. All for less $ . . .and you still have a better balanced car.

I've seen all kinds of conversions to domestic power, from Fiats to Ferrari, Jaguar to Jensen. . .I've never been impressed.
