HAIRCUTTING; Layer haircut with scissors

Start by determining the desired length of the haircut from the side of the head, so it will be easier for the client. Cut the perimeter of the hair first. Cut the entire hairline on zero degree angle. Establish another guideline on the top of the head, and cut the hair on the entire top section of the head on 90 degree angle. Do not elevate the hair around the front hairline. It is best to cut going forward to the face. Continue cutting the top hair and move down to the back area, do the entire back section following the top guideline, and then match it with the guideline around the hairline. Layer the front hair towards the face. Check the entire haircut, blow dry and style. This is a basic layer haircut class for hairdressers, cosmetologists, barbers, beauty school students, instructors and industry educators, and salon professionals, who like making money by doing what they love.

When I go to take my state board , can I use this way for my 90degree haircut ?

@terazia06 No, not for state board; they want a traveling guide gradually traveling up from the nape to the crown. This one has 2 guidelines; one on the nape, the other on the crown; it is more of a salon haircut.
