SLAM Augmented Reality Tracking from 1000 feet in a Drone

Metaio took the live camera feed from from a remotely-operated Drone and tested out its brand new SLAM camera technology to see how well it would track the landscape and buildings- which it did, incredibly.

The screen on the right is the trajectory of the Drone- notice how as the drone moves closer the Metaio SLAM technology maps more and more of the terrain and town in real time!
