LIBBY TITUS super rare LP Donald Fagen Steely Dan LP (12-Inch)
Really hard-to-find self-titled album by Libby Titus (aka Mrs Donald Fagen of Steely Dan). Released in 1977, produced by Phil Ramone, features Paul Simon, Carly Simon, Robbie Robertson. Columbia Records 34152. Record is in good condition : considerable amount of surface noise, which generally does not hinder enjoyment of the music, though is annoying in some places. No major scratches and no jumps. Sleeve has mild ringwear and general ageing. But this is, as I say, a very rare record. It was briefly issued on CD (long deleted) and those issues have gone for $200!

Robert Christgau, self-styled 'Dean of American Rock Critics', said: 'I don't like this woman, who strikes me as a cutesy-pie snob with starfucker tendencies.' He still gave it a B rating, though. And he's usually on the ball in his wiseass way.

She has 2 children Ezra born 1966 father is Barry Titus her 1st husband and Amy born 1970 father is Levon Helm longtime boyfriend.

Amy is an incredible musician and singer. She is a member of the band Ollabelle

I love Libby too...discovered her from ..of course..being a fan of Levon and Amy (daughter) Helm and wondering who her mother is...

Love that record as well...play it often

She could have had a singing career but had two children to raise..

Amy Helm has become an incredible singer and musician in her own rite..so Libby did right too

The Libby Titus album is incredible. I have it on vinyl and it is one of the albums I'll never part with, simply because the songwriting is so brilliant. Wish I could get it on CD. Love "Wish I Could" and "Can't Believe You're Mine."
