SUPER quick video just to update you on my newest addition to the horsey gang :)

This is Ducle, my new little filly! We adopted her from a rescue about a week ago :) She's and 8 month out pure buckskin qh, canadian bred. We've been thinking about getting a youngster to work with and bring along and adopting one really just seemed to work out for us. She was bred by an irresponsible breeder who didn't monitor the business going on between his stallion and mares, and ended up with more fillies than he could manage. She was sent to the auction to be sold for slaughter, when the place i adopted her from saved her :) She has literally no training at all but is the sweetest thing! She comes up for treats, hay, etc. and will follow you around all day but isn't used to the idea or being pet or caught yet. Right now we're just working at gaining her touch and being able to just touch her! I'm not worried about any kind of timeline and definitely will not be rushing this little girl :)

@xxxligeiaxxx Thanks :) Everyone whose had a youngster has offered the same advice to me so i'm totally just trying to enjoy everyday with her. Of course I can't wait for her to be grown and to see the horse she'll become but i'm also content having my little girl right now :D

Good to hear you wont be rushing it. She us adorable and im sure will be a stunning big mare once she is all grown up. I cant wait to see more of her be sure to try and keep us updated every few weeks to see her progress i would love that alot myself anyways good luck with her and good for them to have rescued her from the slaughterhouse auction.
