@davidlenander Definitely. He thought it wasn't the Holllies' style, and he was right... but the group was more into showmanship than original, heartfelt songs with a message, which was more of what Graham was all about.

As mush as I love The Hollies, and trust me I really do, Manfred Mann's version of this song is better.

Truly a waste of time and effort. The brass is awful. Maybe if they'd stuck with the banjo, it might have been a curiosity-- Mighty, mighty Quinn, king of the wild frontier.
