So, to the point: All that we have evidence for is that Mata Hari was detained at the train station due to the war. There is not even a death certificate for 1917 in her name. @Jekyl99999 The man she was seated next to did not go to trial. They were detained because of War-Time security much like 9-11 airport procedures. She didn't know him. He felt it was his fault. This is also a rumor but feasible. Sources say her "mug shot" was actually her passport photo. I challenge you to produce 1 legal official government document of an actual case against Mata Hari. When they wanted to re-open the case, they could not, because there is no actual file. WWI's biggest myth/lie.
