Eh, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has a known bias against progressive rock almost since its inception. The fact that it took Rush longer to get in than the friggen Beasty Boys is more than enough evidence of that.

Honestly, any establishment that proclaims to herald rock and roll and yet completely ignores almost an entire decade of rock in its peak is not worth the time of day in my book.

i agree totally, the rock and roll hall of fame hasn't even acknowledged deep purple and there's not a whole lot of guitarists on the planet whose very first recognizable riff wasn't "smoke on the water".

Rolling Stone list is still living in 1975-1985 with simple bands like U2, Springsteen and Stones. Do not explect that they have the ability to understand Alex.....

Think that's bad? Z106 up in Jackson, MS doomed us all to classic rock while many of their DJs go over to Laurel, MS, too, where all rock is played.
