I knowwww, I like a good DB session too but THAT one wasn't the joint bc it wasn't MADE at that speed; it sounds "jacked" (when tempo & pitch is noticeably sped past appreciation / "screwed" is slowing it down by a lot). If u MAKE a track at 170bpm, it'll SOUND "correct" bc the pitch & drum timbres would sound totally different. This is an aspect of DJing & u can be negatively called out on it, when attempting SERIOUS work, not just musings like this one (I muse as well tho).
