  • Awesome, I was there! Thanks for putting this up on Youtube, great to relive this event.

  • I can't wait for Rockford 09, this year i will actually be in the event; instead of just watching!

  • This was one of the better in-town battles.. if i remember right I did crowd control for this one..

  • Cool, I was going to reenact there; but HRS passed there new rule; No One Under the Age of 18 Can wear a uniform at an event. or something like that.

  • That is incorrect. The minimum age is 16 for uniforms. Under age 18 cannot use weapons at events.

  • Some events like TSG allows under kids to use weapons.

  • @Legomaster1209 yes I'm 11 but if u would like to actually reenact do wat I do and start collecting now so when ur old enuff u can jump rite in

  • Man, I want to do a reenactment, looks fun and it would be cool to wield a Thompson, but I don't have the cash to do it. Perhaps some time in the near future though.

  • they still won that battle and held out pretty long considering half the world was against them

  • @SSsoldat1 - Which was all about the Normandy Invasion and the overwhelming victory the Allies had vs Nazi Germany, thank God. Once the Allies landed at Normandy, it took only a year to beat back Nazi Germany's army's all the way to Germany and their ultimate defeat.

  • what about the bridge to far? you know how the british and the americans tried to capture the bridge but they failed.

  • @SSsoldat1 - Initially, yes, as they spent years preparing for war/invasion and conquest, where'as the rest of the world didn't. Consequently, initially, Nazi Germany had a rather large edge on the battlefield. As soon as the Allied powers industries kicked into gear, that was totally reversed.

  • @JohnQuincyAdams1 but germany did win lots of battles to.
