I don't think Miller even believes half the stuff he says. He's a comedian so of course he's hypocritical and talks on topics as though he's passionate. It's very likely though that there aren't too many things he cares about if it's not hitting him in the wallet.

Dennis Miller is the worst level of intelligence.
He's at that annoying level where he's smart enough to grasp wit and wordiness,
but not smart enough to smell incompetency and danger.
There's no obscure 7-syllable word Miller can hunt for in the thesaurus that will undo "Sarah Palin is a great pick".
Miller's mind is a terd dressed in a sequin gown.
