How come when anyone covers a Velvet Underground song the fans have to comment saying "Only Velvet Underground can play this song!!!" "VU is better" "Nobody is aloud to cover VU!!"
It's really obnoxious. You guys sound like Metallica fan boys or something. I love the Velvets but people can cover whatever fucking song they like. Plus bands like the Chili Peppers and Smashing Pumpkins were big fans of VU just like YOU are! So grow up.

His version beats all other post Velvet covers including Reed´s or whoever else has done this.
