In this week's address, Rep. Lynn Jenkins discusses The House Republican Plan for America's Job Creators and our all-of-the-above approach to domestic energy production. This past week, members of the House Energy Action Team (HEAT) toured energy sites across the country including oil rigs, fracking areas, and a pipeline factory to highlight our own resources. We must work with local energy producers to expand production and create jobs to help ease the pain at the pump. It's all part of our plan at http://jobs.gop.gov

"One quote"? That's hysterical. I'm afraid you've failed American Founding Principles, Chapter 1. "General Welfare", as clearly defined when not excluding all other clauses means expenditures for the benefit of all, not awarding one industry over another, never mind one which is built solely around ideology.
And I'm still waiting for the name/description of the "specific" tax deduction for oil and natural gas profits. You seem so sure of it ... yet you can't specify.... how odd

there is a tax break SPECIFICALLY for income generated by oil and natural gas profits.
GE should be paying taxes too. We were talking about big oil.
Let's discuss the drug war, the media, or something else.
I've given you the evidence- I can't make you recognize it.
Better yet- why don't you go rape your cousin.
Isn't that what folks like you do?
You live in the southeast USA don't you?
Or texas?
Have fun with that.

it's called the "general welfare". If you don't like it, leave the USA! Thanks!

"Go read our constitution. It says the federal government can provide for the "general welfare"
Truly unbelievable. Your statement above is indicative of how a middle school student might interpret "general welfare".
James Madison - "If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare, then they may take everything, from the highest to the minute object, it would subvert the very foundations of the limited Government established by the people of America".

AND you want to tax people and piss it down a black hole?
I'll bet you supported carbon taxes too didn't you? Why not? I have no doubt that you'd like to tax the air these "stupid sheep" and "dumb asses" breath. I'll bet you call abortion clinics "health care for the sheeple" when you think it's safe to do so.

You've provided nothing specific. Name the specific tax code that benefits only "big oil". I find it odd that you exclude companies such as GE, among others, who paid no taxes in 2011, especially given the bailouts & government contracts those like GE received.
You're obviously not understanding tax payments outside a corporate tax return, tax deferments, etc. Exxon's average tax rate over the last 6 years is 29%, far higher than many corporations.
