Michele S., professional, remembers having her first severe headaches at the age of 16. Over time, she's seen "about a dozen" Neurologists for this problem. When she came to the Headache Institute of Texas, she was experiencing daily headaches, averaging 4/10 with a high of 6/10, with 2 of her worst headaches a week. Headache symptoms were in the back of her head, around her ears, across her whole head, forehead, behind her eyes, and into her cheeks. In addition to daily headaches, she described daily neck and upper back/upper shoulder symptoms, as well as left arm pain. She also had daily ear pressure in her left ear, as well as dizziness (imbalance).
