Uncomfortable wasnt exactly the word to describe this, and agitated wasnt really working either. At this very moment, Nick was fighting the urge to walk away and leave this entire scene behind him. Out of the three month span that Miley would be filming in Tennessee, why was it that her passionate scene with Lucas had to be filmed on the same day he was visiting?
It made him sick, and now, on take eight, he was already in the mood to stand up and yell at them to stop. But still, he remained. It was like a car accident, and as much as he wanted to, he couldnt look away. There was so much in front of Nick that hurt and burned, but his eyes were fixated, watching Mileys lips and Lucas lips settle on each others like thats the way it was supposed to be, because in the movie, that was the truth.
Now, this right in front of him, none of it spoke the truth to Nick. The truth was him and Miley, not this. No, this truth hurt.
"CUT!" Nick was snapped out of his reverie and back to where Miley and Lucas stood on the porch of the barn. He looked up, watching Miley smile at Lucas and touch his shoulder before walking toward where Nick sat next to Brandi.
She leaned into his now erect frame, wrapping her arms around his waist and hugging his motionless body. "You ready to go?"
"Yup" They walked away, moving silently toward Mileys trailer. On the way, Miley rested her head on Nicks shoulder, nuzzling her chin into the crook of his arm.
"You okay?"
"Yup" Nick opened up Mileys trailer door and let her inside. She obliged, only after she gave up on catching his beautiful brown orbs on her own bright blue ones. Nick shut the door behind him, slamming the metal so hard that the door locked itself in a fit of fury.
"Okay, talk. Whats wrong?"
"Nothing, can we not talk for once?" Nick stepped in and huskily whispered a few jaded ideas into Mileys ear. Despite her best efforts, she smiled and then finally gave in. Her lips found Nicks even with their eyes closed. And they kissed and it was rough and Miley just didnt like it. Apparently Nick didnt either, he stood back and wiped at his lips. "I cant do this!"
