I've just woken up. The day's beginning. Drew the curtains back letting the fierce Sun in. It's hot and humid. Went to bed very, very late... Recharging my batteries, slowly. The strings reflect my awful Hangover, as I find my feet and reflect on last nights antics.
Music by me, obviously.
Andy's Review:19/05/11
I always wanted to score a Soundtrack. This came from somewhere. The Toracube sound is eveolving. Very layered. Loads of ideas. Messy, but structured. Letting the imagination flow. A sort of Jazz.
The strings are a bit over the top. My most experimental work to date. There are moments in this that I go 'Wow ! That's cool' though. An odd bit of music. Sometimes I really like it, but it's not for everyone. I was inspired to make this by a beautiful pal from Finland whose name starts with a P.

  • love the music and vids perfect match....u should be doing film soundtracks bud

  • Thanks ELEC. Maybe one day... This one has a soundtrack feel. I had visions of titles coming up over it. The hangover fanfare came out ok. I try to do my own thing. Glad you liked it.

  • This is good stuff - I think it is tricky to do a sound scape like this (like your other works) and have it evolve in a continually interesting way without being obviously repetitive.

  • On this one I had a plan and it all kind of came together. Waking up, dreary, fanfare slightly out. It's the first one that I had in my head before I sat down. Loads of over the top strings to drive you crazy. It is probably my biggest gamble that no one would like it,. But people seem to get it. Glad you liked this one too!! Andy ))

  • This was a neat Andy! There was a lot of cool things going on in this one! A great one for Sunday:)) I liked the write up too..LOL...You do so well with the videos too! Goes well with the tune;)

  • Thanks Jane! This was an experimental jazz piece that turned out very well. It has been well received. I think it's one of my best, but it is not immediate to outsiders. So glad you liked it.

Thanks for the stars. Great to hear from you. :))

  • Glad you liked it!!!. I went for a slight fanfare. ( My homage to Lalo Shifrin and Jerry Goldsmith). I imagine a film beginning. The hero wakes up and gets ready the writing coming up, the hero getting in a car, mountains, traffic... I was worried that it would be too out there. But people seem to get it. I felt like experimenting. I am more pleased with this one than a lot of the others, oddly because it was harder to do right. Thanks for watching Erick!! Andy :)))

  • George Saunders was cool personified. Great man. Love his films!!! Glad you enjoyed the vid. More coming up. Andy

  • Hi Andy. This feels like rising sun, the music. This is very abstract, very atmospheric. Jazz with third stream elements as well. I like it, it also feels like a fanfare. And the imagery is astounding as usual. I`ll get back to you on the imagery soon. This is nice.
