GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) - A teen was seriously hurt in a shooting Saturday afternoon in Grand Rapids.
It happened around 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Griggs and Union SE.
The victim is a 19-year-old man. Police told us he was shot in the torso. The teen is listed in critical condition at a Grand Rapids hospital.
Police on the scene told 24 Hour News 8 the alleged shooter drove away from the scene. A neighbor said she heard "four shots and as I approached the picture window, I seen the dark colored, small compact car going westbound on Griggs at a high rate of speed".
