In tribute to Ron Fricke who filmed Koyaanisqatsi ( one of my favourite films) This film charts the progress of the day and night, the changing light, weather and progress of the moon and stars . Enjoy ( do enjoy as it took two years to make!)
Technical assistance was by Alistair Meldrum who provided the specs for the pans and other things well beyond me, drove me places and had to give up a lot of his own time-lapse due to me getting there first.
Music ( shamefully I forgot to add this to the final version credits) Phillip Glass from his violin concerto.
Video editing - greatly helped by Rene Orielly who pointed the way to good editing and who was not at all shy by giving rough comments ( and i like that)
Video testers- David Watt, Dougie Nicol, Janet McSherry, Ian Wishart, Ian Hartley ( if its crap, they have no problem telling me so).

Came back to this video again recently; still very powerful. I've been learning more about film myself in my studies, of course, and I'm a tad gutted you don't have a slightly better resolution for this at moments! Especially the closing moments would look wonderful in 720p or higher.

But it's still beautiful after all this time! Though my only question is, what do the 33 twats who dislike this have against it exactly?

Two years later, I'd still pay for an HD version. However, I seem to remember reading that an HD version would be impossible because the original resolution isn't that high? I could be making up that memory. Anyway, hope you're still creating.

WOW... A Timelaps Master indeed. You should get an Oscar for 04.15.
